Sometimes it's uncanny how I can be on one side of the pond and Per can be on the otherside and we are all doing the same thing. Last week saw such a moment. A few days before the big book sale the papers were reminding everyone not to forget this stupendous occasion. Forget a book sale ? What are you crazy ? So Per lovingly took his family to the book sale in Visby while clear across the planet Valli was in the throws of Children's Book Festival week.

    How funny!
However when I hit the Book Sale in Stockholm, I actually bought a Wok cookbook, my first ever recipe book in Swedish, could be fun!
I then bought a Bamse DVD and a Police Officer Beck (Swedish cop show) dvd box set. Not that I am a huge fan but I find that watching Swedish DVDs with the Swedish subtitles on is another great way to learn Swedish!

    Hi Shane,
I’m glad you got in the booksale mode too. Now you can finish out winter with some good reads and movies. I love to watch swedish movies and TV with subtitles. One really learns a lot. Besides the movies you bought any suggestions?
