We on Gotland love our sheep.

As I sit here on this winter day I am reminded of a wonderful place that I love to visit which has everything to do with Guter Sheep. The Ihregård farm and Spinning MIll in Lärbro. Not only do they have wool in all of it's varieties but they have a wonderful cafe which serves great buns and coffee. They also offer freshly grilled lamb in their cafe as well starting at 7:00 pm. This is a day's excursion for us. They have tennis, mini-golf, horseback riding, swimming plus they have an organic garden/farm which includes and green home. If you are needing a stuga they have these available too. Wanting to hold a party or event there, no problem…they can help you. This is such a friendly and kind place. The minute you get there you don't want to leave.

Is what reminded me of this place today was my knitting stash. There in my grey section sat two skeins of Ihregård two ply which sent all of these great memories flooding back.

Now what will I knit with this ? After much looking through books and the ravelry website, I remembered this pattern. Elsabeth Lavold has so many great patterns. I was first introduced to her when her book "Viking Patterns for Knitting"came out. I had so much fun knitting up hats and sweaters etc. Now I've decided on these great wrist warmers. Have a look at the free pattern and try some for yourself.
